WCAG 1.4.1 · Level A
Link In Text Block
- What is broken
- Links inside paragraphs are marked only by colour, so anyone who cannot distinguish that colour cannot see they are links.
- Who it affects
- Anyone with low vision or colour blindness — and any customer on a phone in daylight — may not be able to read it at all.
- How to fix it
- Underline inline links, or ensure at least 3:1 contrast against the surrounding text as well as a non-colour cue on hover and focus.
