- What is broken
- The page does not declare what language it is written in.
- Who it affects
- Screen readers choose pronunciation from the language setting; when it is missing or wrong the page is read in the wrong accent, sometimes unintelligibly.
- How to fix it
- Add a lang attribute to the <html> element.
